Not a stupid question at all. The water can't actually "climb" up the intake tubes and into the airbox assembly the way everything is designed. Also, the intake assembly doesn't drop down the back up at all. From the scoops the tubes head straight back and then up so water can't sit at all in the assembly. The intake helps a ton up top with my cam. The K&N wouldn't flow enough in higher RPM's for my motor to take in the air it wanted. Right now in 3rd gear the truck just keeps pulling up to my 130mph speed limiter. I'm definitely not going any past that as there's no point to at all.

Got most of the trans parts here, just gotta wait a week to start the build and then install of my new 4L65E. New times to come soon after the trans is broken in and is tuned properly.

Word from Patrick is that they're supposed to have a new intake manifold come out in the future or something of the sort. I know right now their site shows the new throttle bodies they're selling. I got to see one in person last time I was up there and it looks quite interesting

Anyways, more updates to come on quarter times. I'll be making a pass with and without the ram air, and also with the single layer race filter.

Wouldn't hurt to call and find out. These systems retail for 370 I believe so I think you could probably get one for your truck around the same ballpark. Figuring out where to mount the scoops is the only issue with trucks older than '05'ish.

Default Free intake setup and Try-power intake

Here are some pictures of the setup I had for free, this intake was made by a friend from work, this set does work no BS, you just need time to make the intake from your OEM intake, But now I just installed a try-power intake, a nice set up.

The production 07-08"s are ready now.
The production 05-06"s kit will be ready to ship in a day or so.
(look for pictures of the 05-06 kit soon)

The new Tri-Power unlike previous Truck kits has been designed for all out performance while at the same time bringing a retro look to the Truck and SUV engine compartment ,without sacrificing quality.

The new Tri-Power kits used the latest in CAD sofware design to ensure quality ,from manufacturing to installation.

We also provided customers with pre-production kits to test before release. Integrating the customer to company relationship in order to streamline installation and allow for independent review.

You will be very pleased with the new Tri-Power "We guarantee it'

or we will take it back and pay the shipping both ways!
Best regards,
Patrick
