It's not your typical dryer vent duct work, it's the same type duct used in racing spec ducts. I'll see if there's a model number or something on the tubing.
That's your opinion, but until you look at it in person and use it don't be so quick to judge. There's a few small things that needed to be fixed about the first intake I had, and that's why it was a prototype directly from Patrick. We found out what needed to be done to make it work, and Patrick designed/fabricated a unit built specificly for my model truck.

I have said it before.
There just is not that much power to be had in a CAI kit. WAY overenginered product. All of them. All of the engines, even the 400hp 6.0 engines, really dont need that radical of an intake design.
If someone could invent the PERFECT intake design, what are you looking at, 10HP, maybe?
I have yet to see any REAL figures that impress me.
For the $300 that most of them want, you can damn near pay for a cam swap, or be half way to a 3400 stall. Something that will actually make your truck faster.

jake i have ram air. i noticed zero gains on the track. i keep it on to let some cool air into the box.
