vararam vr6 intake
Anyone runnin that vararam vr6 king cobra intake on there truck? if so, are you noticing any power/mileage difference? I have mixed thoughts about runnin it on my truck. I havent found any insight from people on it anywhere. I would apreciate your input. Thanks

honestly boss, i dont think ive ever read ANYTHING good about vararam, especially the velocity stack, im not going to tell you if one intake is better than another, because you didnt ask that, but i have never ran a vararam, just putting my .02 cents in that i havent heard anything good about their products.

Save your money. I had one, bought it unused off ebay for $200, installed it, saw no difference in mileage or power, pulled it off, sold it for $200, then bought an STS turbo kit and love it. I have seen dyno graphs on two 6.0 trucks that had only a tune and an AFE intake and picked up over 40 HP. Not to say you will see similar results, but at least that intake didn't hurt performance as I have heard some have. The guy that bought my VaraRam loves it, by the way, and he didn't care much for power or mileage increases as much as the "GEE WHIZ" factor when you pop the hood. The Volant has had some good reviews. See you...

That idea actualy belongs to BlackGMC, while mine does look similar to that, it was not my idea first.
I dont really care for K&N or any other name brand intake system, I mean seariously $200 to $350 for molded plastic and a filter. Seriously? I built my kit for less than a hundred bucks, and I got a big *** cone filter too.
