I have the venom 400 performance control module on my truck and I was wondering it anyone has it or now if it works because I have had it for about a year and I don't think does **** for my truck. Also off the subject got my Nelsons tune and I love it, I can stay next to my buddys, now when we are racing.

I think if it's the venom module they sell in summit that claims it gives 25% HP, then it is BS. I heard it explained that it works like this, when you push the pedal halfway down it really opens it 3/4 of the way by messing with diffrent sensors, so you say man I'm hauling *** I'm only half way into it. They equated it to having a peice of wood tied to the bottom of your shoe. There explaination was much better than mine, search the net to find info. A custom tune like the one you have is the only way to get a signicifacnt amount of HP from tuning, not HPP3 or Venom, IMO those are a waste of money, no offense.

man your buddys truck must be really slow with 4 people and a full tank of gas, for you to keep up with him, what did you have like a 1/4 tank, and an 100lb girlfriend. i think you should have done it from a dead stop. im sure your buddy would have had some better luck.

Once the weather changes, it's not looking so good seeing as we are getting 6-8in of snow right now. and my truck wont see a flake of snow again.
i doubt you were gaining on me but could be its hard to tell WHEN YOUR IN MY MIRROR . i will give you that the 02 tune is a nice one. someday i will upgrade.

im sorry but it was 3 people not 4. i had about 400lbs in people and 3/4 tank of gas, and what did you have maybe 260lbs in people and a 1/4 tank of gas.

More and more excuses thats all I hear. I also had some **** too, like Josh sub box and some stuff in the bed, but I'm not making excuses.

We will pull out the camara in the spring or maybe sooner.

You had to pull out the big gun, about me blow the tranny twice and I didn't have the money for the stall. You just wait when we are racing and you smoke your tranny and your in my rearview mirror, like you will be the hole race.

Whos the one that might be able to hock you up with a whipple.

i have plenty of faith in my 60E with 95,000 miles on it. it never lets me down. (knock on wood)

only time will tell with this race. im impress with your tune, and the improvement it has made on your truck.

and i will beleive the wipple story when i have it in my truck and my tanny is smoked. if you can get it it will open up the full out race truck of mine

LQ4 6.0, 80E with 3200 stall, eaton rearend, injectors, fuel pump, whipple 8psi. intercooler. oh and a lot of money out of my pocket
