Default Very impressed with Corsa quality

UPS man came around 4pm. Farted around for about 20 minutes getting the stock catback off. Tried cutting the pipe after the muffler with a dremel and a cutoff wheel...LOL. That lasted about 15 seconds before the wheel exploded into 20 pieces. Ran to Harbor Freight and got a sawzall for $22, thing sliced right through the pipe. Attempted to get the 2 catback bolts off, wouldn't budge, will need to wait for the metal to cool and contract. I'll see if there's enough light in the carport to get 'er done tonight, otherwise I'll finish up in the morning.

Anyways, I hope this catback sounds as good as it looks. It's the Touring version BTW. I know the pricetag is enough to make your jaw drop (mine too), but I think it will be worth it. I was reading some old posts on here regarding the Corsa and a post by TXsilverado sealed the deal for me....[something along the lines] "people want to complain about the drone, but they don't want to pay for the best catback. There's only 2 catbacks without drone, stock and Corsa." Enough said.

Big thumbs up to Corsa for their shipping packaging. Insulating/expanding foam around everything completely protecting the pipes.

Yup, I'm completely happy with my corsa. Corsa=no drone!

I only wonder if I should have the tips welded onto the remainder of the exhaust. I'd hate to have the tips stolen.

You wont regret it - two trucks now with it and never a problem just compliments on it! As for the tips I tacked mine on in 3 places pretty good and never worried after that.

Id steal your tips, then paint em black and put them back on for you. To much exhaust bling for me, a friend has this system on his nnbs and said it slipped on/fit great.

Were you able to get the bolts off, or did you call it a night? I usually have better luck with exhaust bolts when they are hot.

I don't know what is going on with the bolts. I can turn them about 1/2 turn counterclockwise and then it hits a brick wall. The exhaust is only warm to the touch now.

Seriously, those 2 freaking bolts are holding me back and 30 mins later I would have this Corsa on. And I don't have my Kroil Oil any more either, that would be quite helpful now.

I liked my Corsa with converters, but without converters it was way too loud for my taste.

The front end of the setup will consist of ARH 1 7/8" headers into a catted 3" Y pipe, and then into the Corsa touring.

The Corsa stuff has a lifetime warranty too. That's pretty cool in my book.

Tomorrow I will be hunting for some penetrating oil. I would love to find some Kroil, but I know that isn't happening. That stuff is amazing. I'll probably just end up with PB Blaster from walmart.
