...tho all of these are expensive one time investments the amount of rwhp they yield keeps the ratio low. If u apply the same equation to CAI it becomes one of the most expensive mods (IMO ). Most people start here cause of the lower initial investment but why spend $300+ when ull get 75% of the benefits from basic changes or simple filter change? These mods are what u do LAST when ur scraping together the final few ponies to maximize the performance of one of the ones above...CAI 2-5rwhp/$300-350 = $60+/rwhp...prob is SOTP won't notice this!
why would a 150 shot cost $1500 haha

Sure some kits could cost that much, but that's not really looking at bang for buck. A standard wet kit could easily spray a 150-200 shot.

All agreed...I'm no NoS expert and thats why the big range...it all depends how deep u wanna go. Same with the blower...u can add cam, headers...etc. and start jacking the cost up.

I got one of these back in April. I like it real well. It does seem to struggle less with WOT acceleration on the highway.
I know it was overpriced, but I liked the cfm and air temp charts Banks offers as proof.

What are the prices per hp for a full exhaust system? Headers, mid pipe, catback systems?
