yes it its with just a hand held super chips tunner and intake a guy here in houston went 13.8 at 99mph but most are running stock 14.8 compared to 15.2 on most ss here in houston.

Stock, yes. Same motor and trans, but without the extra weight of the transfer case and AWD system.

But as soon as you start HP modding and creating problems with traction, the SS would eventually pass the VHO.

Don't forget the SS's AWD takes more HP & TQ to turn over too.

if i had the money to buy either truck i would really be torn. on one hand, i don't need the awd, but on the other hand, awd will end up getting better traction for street racing and at the track. but like mentioned above, it is gonna take power to turn it but will be damn handy when you make some insane numbers.

i think he is running a smaller set of wheels on the back. but im not sure. that was on a cold night to i believe. man there are so many of them down here now.

I really want a vho, but they are not even heard of up here. Are they all over the dealers or you gotta order them?
