Nice work zeroing in on the PCV valve. Who'duv thunk? It's got to be some debris lodged in the valve. A replacement should fix the whistle. (Hmmm......mabye you could send me the problem PCV valve and I could have some fun with the wife's truck.........) J/K
So you fixed the injector issues then?

Not yet, it should be in today, if it gets here I'll fix it tonight. Actually my wife had company and I had to get out the house to get away from all the yaking. lol I checked each injector with my jumper wires to make sure all other ones were dropping the same pressure and the #1 injector is the only bad one. And I thought I'd just look for the whistle to minimize what I have to do when the injector gets here.

Well, it blew a head head gasket Super Bowl day because the shitty *** Flex-a-lites quit while it was Idling and we were talking to a dude a the Chevy place. Then I had him a set of 317's milled .045" so static compression should be about 10.8 or 10.9 to 1. I tuned it for a bit that night after I got the heads finished (after the PCM took a dump and replace it also). I got the AFR around 12.9-13.0 and running about 29* of timing at WOT, and from 45mph, it would downshift to 2nd and spin to about 65mph!!! It was running great then about 2 weeks later, the lockup clutch went bad in the converter so, sent it out, got it freshened up and had the trans guy reinstall it and ran great....for about a week. Tranny lost 4th, 2nd and reverse. Took it back to the tranny guy, he had forgotten to flush the cooler lines He taking care of it though and the new transmission should be ready by the end of the week. Then I'll finish fine tuning it and we'll get a Diff cover on and head to the track hopefulley withing the next month or so.

Its fun, when its been running lol. Time for the track soon, I'm hoping for 11.70's in the warm weather and better when it cools off again, if the 60's are good that is. I'm hoping for some 1.5-1.6 60's.

Could you use the 4BRL with Forced Induction? Would seem like it would be a good thing...
