Sounds tune related to me. Put the superchips tune back in and see if it still does it.

I'm thinking tune too. The converter does lock right then in stock program, I don't know what Allen's doing with it though. It will feel similar to how that sounds, but it shouldnt loose rpm or momentum like that.

Sicne 3rd sees the most hp/tq - maybe its the clutch pack slipping? Fuel pressure is fine - but could it be the tune? I'll show it to Allen and see what he says.

I feel dumb asking this, but how can you tell when the converter is locked or not?
I didn't mean WOT in od I just me when the truck in in od and then downshifts to 3rd. Sorry for any confussion. This is the same problem I have.

My truck seemed to do something very similar right after I installed the cam, but in 2nd gear and 3rd gear, right after the shift. After installing the Vinci tune, it went away. Methinks a tune might cure what ails ya.

Set the lockup speed to 255 for 100% throttle.

Thats the converter locking up. It locks up at 75 stock and at 100 with the hypertech.
Try pressing the brake pedal slightly, it should disengage the TCC. I not sure if it will work at full throttle.
