Try pressing the brake pedal slightly, it should disengage the TCC. I not sure if it will work at full throttle.
This should be done without lifting off the gas pedal. Just touch the brake enough to turn the lights on.

TCC "Normal" table needs to be edited. Up the 3rd gear values...

Here is my stock table.

Allen agreed it was the converter locking, he said that some trucks like stalls locked at WOT and some like them unlocked.....guess were going to try unlocking it at WOT.

I second (or third or whatever) the converter locking. It should not be locking at wot in third though. The yank is efficient enough to not have to lock it at wot. I also noticed that it dosnt engage hard like mine does with the transgo but that may be because ti was tring to lock up at wot and the clutch was slipping a little. When my converter locks up in 3rd or OD it feels like it is shifting into another gear it locks so quick.

Its definitely the converter locking....tried tapping the brakes when it happened today and it unlocked again and picked right back up. Guess I'll have Allen send me a new tune with the converter unlocked at WOT. Are there any disadvantages to this?

Talking

we had mine set to lock up at anything below 50% throttle. after that it will unlock. reason being it is much nicer cruising with it locking and keeps heat down, but with it at wot no locky. good luck man. glad it is something simple buddy
