Default Volant or Procold? tell me what you think of them

Want a intake for my truck, which should I go with? Procold or Volant? (for a 2003 1500 Avalanche)

honostly, i would make my own. use a 45 degree 4" tube (rubber) and a 90 degree 4" rubber tube along with a 4" aluminum tube to connect the two. hooks right up to the mas air sensor then get a filter and box off of ebay. i think those filters are AFE. this is what some people are doing and it works. cost should be around 50 to 60 bucks for all of it vs 250 or more

not necessarily. you will have to cut the 90 degree tube shorter so it will fit. this is what i had to do when i didn't have elec fans.

Well i went the pro cold route.Like it alot, fit and finish top notch. But this is the olny cold air ive ever had, so cant add alot of input vs volant, etc. But definatly woke the truck up.and yu cant beat a 5 min install.

I like my Volant, looks good, almost factory/clean look - no experience with procold, I'm almost sure you can't "feel" the difference between the amount of power between the two but you never know. Just dont get a UPD (cheap)
