Volant or Vararam????

I found a place that has avery good price and free shipping, but I dont see the optional scoop you're talking about. Also I saw someone mention a ram air kit???? I still dont see anyone chiming in about the vararam!! THANKS!!!

Alright, didnt volant just change their box design not too long ago b/c it wasnt performing like it was supposed to?? I just checked their website and I cant find an intake for our trucks (99-05) with the 5.3!! So are all the ones Tbyrne selling old models??

ALSO, the new volant has redigned tube and LARGER box. If you look in the Jan 05 issue of Chevy High Performance, you can see that the new Volant outperformed the old one as well as the new Vararam in terms of track statistics.
If they were trying to maximize the power of this SS, why didn't they attempt to use the K&N? I mean, if they thought it was that good, I'm sure they would have used it.

Ofcourse it did. The old style volant lost HP, didn't it?
