Default Vortec MAX with GMPP SS cat-back pics

I just finished putting a GM Performance Parts exhaust system put on my Vortec MAX. I actually ordered the system that is for the Silverado SS. I also got the double wall angle cut tip that was for the SS. The part numbers for the system were:

GMPP SS Exhaust - 17800765
GMPP SS Exh Tip - 17802143

The system is made by BORLA and the pipes are mandrel bent with a high flow muffler. The tip is double wall, polished stainless steel, angle cut, with a bowtie logo.

You will find below more pics than you want to see. I'm embarrassed that the truck is so dirty, but the weather here has not cooperated lately.

I am working on getting some sound clips too. I will post those links when I get the clips.

Looks like a nice system. Fitment looks great. Is this kit priced similar to a regular borla kit?

It is actually quite a bit less than a normal BORLA kit. I only paid 404 for the kit and 75 for the tip. Pretty good deal if you ask me. It sounds pretty good too. Not too loud, but has a deep mellow tone.

You can only see the clamp if you are down low like I was when I took the pics. You don't normally see it. Besides, after I beat the crap out of the tip driving down gravel roads camping and fishing, I can just replace it if it is clamped on

Sorry......

AH!! But I do have some useful input. I have a GMPP exhaust system on my truck as well.....love it. Perfect sound. Very Maganflow like.....oh wait. That's who made the muffler for the kit.......

I thought the GMPP exhaust kits were made by Corsa and not Borla. The muffler case looks polished like the Corsa kits.

It's made by BORLA. I actually talked to Jay Reinhart from BORLA's OEM Development Department. He is the one who gave me the GM part number.
