Problem is, throughout the years of making GMPP exhaust systems for these trucks....they have used Corsa, Borla, and Magnaflow.......Corsa was the early ones, Magnaflow the majority, and the more recently manufactured ones get Borla now.

How small are those new pipes going into the muffler? they look tiny. I like the stock pipes with replacement Magnaflow muffler. Dual 3" in, single 3.5" out.

I measured them when I got the kit. It seemed like they were exactly the same as stock. I will re-measure when I get a chance and post the actual measurements.

The out is only a 3". A 3.5" would be nice.

You say the stock pipes going in are 3" on yours??? Not on mine. They were either 2.5 or 2.75, I can't remember for sure.

MBRP had a cat back exhaust for our trucks awhile back that was 3.5". I guess they didnt sell much because I think they stoped making them. I should have bought one then.

I installed the SS system on my V-Max. It fit perfectly, but I have an extended cab - same as the SS. I would suspect that any system designed for the SS would fit an extended cab V-Max. If yours is a crew cab, then I can't help you. A system designed for a crew cab 1500 HD with an LQ4 6.0 liter MIGHT fit.

I have a v max and bought a dual 3in. inlet/ single 3in. out magnaflow 22in. long muffler and 4in. tip from summit racing for $120 and had it welded in the stock system for $45 at a shop. Sounds very deep and mean. The muffler is stainless too.
