its not that bad...when i first pulled it apart it looked harder then i thought but it only took me like 45 min to do...hardest part is grinding the lip down on the inside of the bucket and cleaning it out

Excellent write up, I agree...Sticky! People ask about the Walbro install on a daily basis!

Hey, I appreciate you taking the time to shoot some photos and post them with the basic write up here. Big help! I'll be doing this in the near future and will definitely be referring back to this thread!
Looks like you did a great job.
I agree, sticky would be excellent.

Thats exactly the same way i did mine, and it failed on me in less then 500 miles. Anyone else have a Walbro failure. I went back to stock but with my new motor and spray I need another one. Was mine just a fluke or are others having failures?

ive been running mine hard since the install with zero problems except i didnt install a valve so i have to prime it about 2 seconds before i crank the truck....also a good rule of thumb is to never let the tank go to far past 1/4 because the fuel actually cools the pump and heat=bad for the pump.

fluke. I have an inline (which are prone to fail more often for some reason) and a walbro in tank. Walbro in tank has been there for a couple years now.

One thing to add to this write up is if possible get a one way valve to install after the pump to keep pressure in the system....not totally necessary but help on startup!

maybe it will make sticky?
