Ok, I'm not very wiring savy, what wire do you need from the factory harness to the relay? 12v source for power on pump, harness power supply turns on the relay?

And I guess might as well ask where the best place for the fuse would be in the 12v power line or on the pump side?

And what size fuse do most run with a pump like that?

The factory wire that provides power to the pump will instead go to the relay and switch the relay on. Not sure which wire it is exactly, but it should be easy to figure out with a voltmeter or some searching on here.

Put the fuse between the battery and the relay.

30amp fuse should be fine
your factory harness has a power that turns on the fuel pump, you wire that to the relay, so when it gets power the relay allows the 12v wire you ran from the battery to turn on the pump

like this

I guess a good question to ask right now would be, does this setup work with the FPCM on the NNBS trucks?

Guess it would really just go around it all together huh...

If your not wiring savvy just get a hotwire kit from Racetronix. I takes about 10 minutes to install if you already have the bed off.

I'm savy enough to figure this out I think... I was thinking it was going to be a lot more involved than it is honestly. Seems pretty dang straight forward really, going to put the main 12v power on a kill switch.

Good anti-theft idea

Put it on the low current side of the relays.
