I just dumped my exhaust yesterday right after my rear axle and now its not nearly as loud as it was. What muffler will give an agressive exhaust note? I was thinking Magnaflow straight through design. Anyone have sound clips with their exhaust dumped with true duel Magnaflows?

 

Dont have any sound clips of the duel Magnaflow, but we did just do one on a 2004 H2 and it sounds great!

 

i have a x-pipe that leads into 2 flowmaster 40 series and then dumps right out. It is loud as hell. Thank god that the cops out here dont have noise meters yet bc i have already recieved about 6 verbal warinings. But it is worth it bc it sounds sick!!!

 

which muffler will give me the car sound (f-body/mustang sound).

I have a magnaflow Tru-duel with dumps...it was not as loud as my Flows....but it was a smoother sound....but i went back for an X-pipe.sure it gives it a better Tone to me....

 

Borla XR1 sportsman mufflers.That will give you a damn good sounding truck.Get the 12 long XR1 and you will have a loud deep Borla tone,Ive heard them on your year model and I have say that it is probably the best I have ever heard on the 5.3's,They are nice.

 

Does a supercharger (Radix) change your exhaust sound?

i just installed dual flow's 40 series catless with upgraded 2.5 piping and it sounds really nice but is a little loud..im hoping that by putting turn downs on it and a crossover will mellow it out a little
