Default wanting to put nitrous on my carb 5.3

i have a 2000 5.3 its a carb, i have the edelbrock timing module n victor jr intake...but i want to put and 150-200 shot on it soon...is there a way to drop the timing on it some..help on this plz...

I'd contact edelbrock about that one.

Im not sure but i think msd made the edelbrock boxes so i would think it has the same advantages as my msd box has and you know ima spray the **** out of mine!!!! But look up the edelbrock timing boxes online aqnd read up on it

i was thinking they should have the same advantages... it has the hook up for the lap top cord,or thats what it looks like anyways

Yes it will hook up to the laptop, just got to have the cord, did you buy it new or used?

its brand new...i paid 714 dollars for the victor jr kit

yea you can change the modules on them and also hook them to a laptop and tune the box.

you need the software and the cable to do it

theres only 2 diff ones i think.

one is a edelbrock branded msd box that only has modules you change. (usually the one paired with the kit)

the other may also be edelbrock branded but it allows you to also hook up a laptop for extra tuning.

find the part number or take a pic of the one you have.

if its the correct box then you would just need to download the software and buy the cable.
