i am buying an LS1 longblock in about a week, currently it has a Magic Stick cam and i dont think i am gonna run this cause i think im gonna need about a 3800 stall and i aint doin that. i am thinkin of doin a 224/224 wit a TB stall and my 3.73s, anybody know what this would be like for a DD? any suggestions would be appreciated thanks guys

for what you want i wouldnt go anything lower then a 222 like the Gt2-5 and no higher then a 228 cam

 

id recomend at least 3200-3400 stall with that cam. im running a 224 with a tb stall and 4.10s and can tell you it sucks out the hole

i forgot but what are the specs on a gt2-5 cam?

with a TB stall, I wouldnt push for any cam over 218 in size and thats getting iffy there..

for anything over 220 in size, you want a 3000+ stall.

i RAN THE the GT2-5 with the TB stall it stalled to 2900, i had 410s and the truck just took off. that cam and the LS1 is perfect for what you want Bill
