water pump thermostat

Default water pump thermostat

ive got a 99-02 water pump with the one piece thermostat/neck, I also got a 160 degree stat im wanting to use. but its for the later two piece design. does any one know if i can jsut use the thermostat neck from the later year water pumps , or do i HAVE to use 99-02 style? was really hoping i didnt have to change WP

You have to match the tstat to the pump. You cant change between styles, the bolt spacing is slightly different.
