Thanks Maxmumboom

It's going to cost 14,500 for them to bring the truck up from NC. It would have been a little cheaper to go get it but, because of work.... <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" />

I'm planning on dropping it 2/4. Maybe a 3/4 for a slight rake. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> Then I'm going to drop in a 422. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Yeeeehaawwww!!!

I'm getting excited. <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />

John

that doesnt look like a stock grill
nore a denali style grill
it looks like a billet with the cutout for the gmc logo.

I might just keep them on there for the sleeper effect. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I'll probably tweak on the appearance a bit. Painting that logo blue sounds like a nice subtle touch. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Default Well, here is the truck :-)

Since my Dad was on vacation down in Nags Head and he doesn't like the beach <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" /> he volunteered to drive down to Morehead City to check out a truck I found.

He said it was in good shape but had some scratches on the tailgate and the previous owner was a smoker. The dealership is going to repaint the tailgate and detail the inside so everything should work out.

Evidently it has some aftermarket parts on it already. The dealership guy said it had headers, exhaust, and some other stuff. He said it was a "Rocket" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I'm praying to the almighty it has Hamm or AS&M headers but, I'm thinking it probably has some shorties...We'll see.

Here is a picture. It's dark blue but, the light/pollen makes it look blue greenish.

Here is a link to a pic. if the above goes down.
Cut and paste link

Oh BTW, is that a standard GMC grille. It looks like the grille on my Mom's Denali. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
