well i did it
i change the 1 3/4 pace headers for 1 7/8 ARH man it was a night and day difference well on me it was cause my exhaust ports were bigger than the header port so it was a ristriction for the motor well my set up is a 6.2 with p&p heads milled and full bolt ons and also a custon grind cam..... i notice that the trucks goes spinning 1st and second with this simple swap on D from a 30 roll which it didnt use to do that it did but i would have to drop it to first and it will do it............ also one of the spark plugs is chipped bad and its missfiring pretty bad see if i change it soon......................

dang...I believe you are the first to report the change from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8. Also, the ARH has a much better collector. Ive seen a report on an SBC that gained 12 hp going to a good merge collector over a standard collector. Do you think you gained any highway cruising power with the switch?

well by the collector do you mean the piece that you bolt on and weld??? if so na i just welded it to the header and i havent droven it in the highway........ what you mean by ticking noise????
