what WERE your mods? And what were you doing when she popped?

Disenigrated piston and a broken rod are the worst ive ever done...that was on a stock motor too in my old truck (89 1500 w/ 350)

The only motor mod was heads and cam. I was driving home with a blown tranny. A Lightning wanted to play, but when he took off I the the vortex anti gravity black hole he produced caused the oil in the pan to de attracted to the lack of gravity, and teh pistons tried to follow, but were encased in the block, so they just jumped out the side
Honestly I have no idea what caused this. I was hard on it, but not hard enough for this to happen, besides thats what rev limiters are far right

i'm thinking it prolly has something with you driving 80+ miles in 2nd gear at speeds well over 50-60mph

as for tools....don't play like you don't know anyone with tools. "if you can't find it in this shop, you don't deserve to be near a car" my question is what cam are you gunna put in the 6.0? the 212/218 is trashed

i'd be willing to bet that big hunk of rod you found in the brushguard under the truck is what tore up the block....

I work with Kips brother in law (kamotion) Im gonna see if I can get it re-ground. BTW its a bigger cam than 212/216

Im pleading the 5th on everything else. I don't know who else has an extra set of throwing tools and will allow me to do a cam swap at their house
