Holy cow!!! Lance, you need a lawyer. If it were me I'd call up the shop, tell them what i found and tell them i want 100% of my money back along with Money for your time and effort taking the tranny out and the downtime of your truck. I'd say thats worth another $1500.

Give them an altimatum to return $4500 to you or let them know you will get a lawyer and go after a whole lot more. CHACHING$$$$$$$$$

ha hemitman. i dont need nitrous to beat that slow dodge. 9.09's. that is slow. i can do that n/a. i was wanting to see what it was doing. but anytime you want to give me a try ill be ready. ill kick that dodges *** all day long anyday.

 

ok i talked to craig at century. he wants the tranny back. he says he will fix it up. i will see if i can get it built and then sell it.

 

TRell him you want to see the parts go in. They can assemble the clutch packs before hand (that's the time consuming part), the rest will slip right in place about as quick as it came apart, probably quicker since they know what they're doing.

FYI, the raptor place sells the 5 pinion set (front and back) for close to 500 bucks.

 

The Raptor place(transmissioncenter.net) is a local place for me and the day after I had them do my Transgo,servo,and cooler I started to hear all kinds of crazy **** about them. I dont knoe if anyone has there product but Ive seeen them putting trannies together in there tranny room and the facility looked ok. Well come to find out they have very large file at the Better Buisness Bureau and there is a 4x4/performance shop right next to them and they say there is always cops over there! My buddies dad tried to get a TCI 2800 stall and lets just say after the 3rd time they gave him the wrong size stall and instead of TCI it was Midwest 3 times in a row he said screw it and thats how I found out about the Better Buisness Bureau deal. Oh yeah he paid for everyone of those stalls and 3 labors!!!!!!!!!!!! I never asked him why. His truck is a 03 SS procharged etc.... If I were you guys I wouldnt use transmissioncenter.net(they make the Raptors). They might make good trannies but they are crooked!


2nd---Is there a actual 4l60e to 4l65e upgrade kit? If so where to get it and if not what all is needed? Sorry to hear about the tranny man I pray everyday someone pulls that **** on me because I have big plans for my ride and I dont have the coin to pull it off!

TigerFan, does your dad in law work out at the GM plant? I heard someone talking about a supercharged SS but they didn't know any details.

 

Yeah! You remembered that or what? Becasue I know I mentioned that. Actually CARAZYCTER4.8's dad has a Black SS with a Procharger,cam etc----His best time is 13.2(he works at GM as well as my Dad-in-Law). We are trying to get him to come to Hallsvile for the meet but who knows. We actually no another guy(a DR) with a Black SS and a Whipple,cam,TNT 75 shot,etc and he hasnt ever been to the track. Ill get CARAZYCUTER4.8 to chime in on his Dad and the Dr but they are both bad!
