talked my dad into tradin in the ole dodge POS and getting a 2003 2500 2wd swb extended cab duramax/alison tranny truck. hell we need a tow rig anyways, might as well have one with 300hp/520tq. we got an UNBELIEVEABLE FRIKIN deal on these with the rebates and a dealer that went way down off sticker! VERY happy purchase. hell, we paid less than most 1/2 ton truck guys do and have a badass combo.

now, am i being too greedy? we are heading off to get a Edge Juice Hot Box level 4 to a new truck! now this will only be for street use and not for towing (maybe level 2) but it is the new combo that adds 125 rwhp and 300 rwtq! that is on a 300hp/520ft-lbs of tq motor factory! probably gonna dyno it at raging motorsports (hey mark, i will call ya soon!) and see the results. that programer is INSANELY expensive but seems to be the best out there for not killin the trannys and making crazy power. also a quick easy install. to think i could make somewhere in the 425 HP and 820 ft-lbs of tq range at the crankshaft in a 3/4 ton truck blows my mind.

Theirs a guy in FSC.com thats running 12.8 with his duramax but you still need to upgrade the tranny as it is not set up to run more the the stock numbers. This is what i heard and read on the tranny itself.

I dont know about 13s but 14s most definately! lol. it is so nice and to answer my own question, NOPE. it isnt too greedy! maybe i should let the motor break in some before hammering it too much. maybe not! it makes driving an automatic diesel worth it around town smoking other PU trucks! lol.
