Wes,

I'm not referring to the "numbers".... that is expected to be different even if the setups were exactly the same.

I am speaking about the curve itself. Look @ the rpm peaks. It almost looks as if we are comparing a Radix tq curve (Quicks mid 3000-rpm peak) vs. a Small cubed n-a setup with a Fast manifold (Dan's 5000-rpm peak).

But yet, were looking at the same combos to an extent.

This is why dyno numbers really dont mean anything. Now if everyone played by the same rules, we could really have some good comparisons to go by, but that is not the case. For example my first dynograph of the 212/218 SAE was 313.96 hp and 306.98 tq. With the standard correction the hp goes to 323.63 and tq goes to 316.43. That is a big jump from just a correction factor. Lock the torque converter like in quickenufs dyno and the numbers will be even higher. I didnt lock the converter so I dont know exactly how much it would be, but for safety, you can add another 10 hp and tq which would be 333.63 hp and 326.43 tq with the Standard correction.
so if i were to take off the correction factors, subract +-10hp, then lock the converter it would be different? what do you guess my numbers would be like?

and i agree , dyno number mean nothing, i only went to get my a/f inline, track times are what i go for.

With the numbers SAE corrected you are probably looking at around 324 hp and 311 tq with the converter unlocked. With the converter locked, you would be showing higher numbers with either. I said +10 hp/tq to be on the safe side with the converter locked. It is probably more than that, but I cant say exactly how much.
