12Sec5.3,

Its the Truck thruster not the Torque Thruster right?

I'm envious of your times, NA? I have a similiar setup, almost the same, except the High lift 212/218 and 4.10"s, 28 drag radials. I'm using the Torque Thruster 3.0str, pretty loose, I love it.

Are you still using the 99PCM? Resistors? any false knock? My godamn 99 pcm was cursed.

Nice times if those are your only mods.

BigKID- It doesn't actually flash to 3k, it flashes to about 2500 when the truck takes off. I didn't try on the track but on the street with the sportsman pro's it will only brake stall to ~2100.
Creederado- I'm not sure which one I have, but it had a little sticker on the converter that said "TRT 3000". That could mean either one to me. What is the difference?
Dude let me give you a hint, when you go to the track put some 26'' tires and you will pick up e.t.. reason b/c you will 60' better rev faster and cross the line at a higher rpm. I have the stock pcm and whatever else. I am getting a little knock retard and do need to get that taken care of.
Love what you've done with the truck. Good job!

That's strange you're only seeing 2100 on the brake... I can brake my stock converter to an indicated 1,700-1,800 before I start to push/drag along.

Yeah - I didn't think it would be that drastic though.

I wonder if that 212/218 cam is healthy at those RPM's in a 5.3L.

My little cam wakes up just after 1,500rpm in my 6.0.
