Default Westers tune or HP Tuners?

The Yukon needs a little pick me up and I am not sure where to spend my $500. Anyone playing with HP Tuners on their truck? It is actually a Yukon XL 4x4 (heavy) with 3.42 gears . Mods are CAI, catback, Ported TB, and free stuff. I am looking for towing performance and better mpg. I rarely redline it so topend doesn't matter to me.

I say go for HP tuners. You will have a lot of learning to do though.

Westers is great at tuning near stock vehicles. His service after that leaves much to be desired. I paid for his tuning ($500) then had to have someone local tune it after the S/C since he sent me a crap tune and wouldnt send me a another that would actually allow me to drive ($420) and now HPTuners ($500). I would save yourself the hassle and get the software from the start.
