It's a pointless move unless you swap to a single plain intake manifold or the dual from Edelbrock. The LS1/LS6 style of manifolds paired with our heads limits us to a near 6200-rpm peak given any large camshaft/head port you use. Check out the T-Rex dyno graphs. They all show 6200-6400 rpm peaks.

Next point, given the rpm capabilities it'll take a 3.26 stroked engine 6800-rpm to make the same power as a 3.62 stroke. Your giving up a **** load of power band. A 4'' stroke can make the same power as a 3.62 stroke at 5600-rpm.

If you will be using a ls1/ls6/fast style manifold, your best bet is to increase the stroke. The name of the game is making the most power in your *USABLE* powerband.
