What is the best intake for a 5.3???

Ok. That makes sense. What are some good ways to get some good torque besides exhaust. Are throttle body spacer's really what everybody says they are? Or are they just something that "sounds" cool? I know that people say to just swap heads. What kind of price are we talking here. I am not really familiar with 5.3's. They are really strange. But I do love my truck.

Tune. If you like wistles you can buy a spacer.

LOL Tune is in the near future. Cam and converter next weekend. Then tune.

if you are doing a cam you beter do a tune if not truck will run like crap and you wont benefit from the upgrades. I recomend you do all at once and tune for the upgrades and you will be very happy.

Depends on how big the cam is. I went 1 week before tuning for my exhaust. then maybe 2 weeks or so before tuning for the cam.

I'm going with the TR224. I am doing the install of cam and converter next weekend, then doing the tune on Monday.

an LS2 90MM truck intake is a nice upgrade, better flow with the bigger TB and still get the low end torque.

i take it your talkin about teh tbss intake/tb setup?
