Are scoops like what is made by the Volant worth the $130 price tag?

I know it can't really qualify as Ram Air, but it does seem like it would be getting more cool air to the filter & at least trying to somewhat pressurizing the intake even though that big opening in the side would make it impossible to actually pressurize it unless that was blocked off completely.

Has anyone ever figured out if shaving the inside of your airbox does anything at all?

After looking at the 2 spares I have, I feel that they really shouldn't interfere, especially with the intended direction of air travel through the box.

It seems these little grid-boxes work really well at holding sand and fine debris down at the bottom instead of clogging up the filter...but this is all speculation from someone with ADHD.

The ram air tube is a cool idea....i don't think it is worth an extra $130 probably only works cruising on the highway

So yall think the stock air box is better than the volant air box? for stock N/A

Side note would special heat wrap tap help lower ITA's with my K&N it's the black plastic tube not metal.
