im workin on a 6.0 i got all the parts i need i just need the cam, the motor wil have all the basic bolt ons and i have patriot performance stage 3 ls6 heads...im probaly gonna buy a cheap trans am and stuff it in there but i may put it in the truck..if i put it in the trans am im gonna get a standard tranny, but if i put it in the truck i got a 3200 stall...so what do u suggest...i dont want a huge monster race cam but i dont want a wimpy cam, so suggestions would be nice...thanks

 

i put a nice 224/224 .580/.580 114LSA cam in my 6.0. Idles very smoothly, makes great power up top, very streetable. You could always go a bit more aggresive to take advantage of the heads. I've got heads on mine too, they max out at .670 lift, but i didnt want to go quite that aggressive.

 

what about the 231/231 texas speed cam? would that work good?

How radical are you looking to go? Still be streetable? Whats the lift and LSA look like on that texas speed cam?

 

its .598 on the exhaust and intake and has a 112lsa...i want to go pretty radical but i dont want the lifts to be above .600 so i think this would be a good cam
