So is the thunder 224 my best bet? I'm ready to place my order now as soon as I make sure this is a good one.
Which length pushrod do I need?

And does anyone remember the part number for the comp double springs I need? Thanks guys.

UPDATE never mind I found the spring part #'s.

Now which cam exactly is the 224? Is it the 224/224? Also which LSA do I want? Thanks again. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I would think a 220/226-114 would be good for n/a and really good with a radix

Anyone else want to pitch in here? I want one of Thunder Racing's cams since they have the nice package deal. I just have no idea which one since there were 6 different suggestions so far

Thanks for the replies guys. Do I need pushrods or lifters too? What else? I've never done a cam before but I am confident I can do it with a little Performancetrucks.net help.
Give Senior Ed Curtis a call. He knows his stuff and will get you hooked up with something to get the most you can out of your setup.

I have the comp XR265 in my lq4 and it does quite well. If i ever get ahead on money, I think i will go up to either the xr 269 or the gm performance hot cam. I went with the comp because I don't see how you can go wrong with a company that has been around since b.c. (before computers). without the predator, the m.f.er wouldn't always idle and it was guaranteed to die in parking lot manuvers. now with the tuner it is great, I just want more and more though. Be sure and post what you end up going with.

I still don't know what to get. I want to order Monday before I change my mind again. Forget what I said about Radixing it in the future. Which Thunder cam should I get?

I was told the 224/224 on a 114 LSA was an "average" cam for the LQ4, so in the words of Larry the Cable Guy you "coulda had more".

BTW, I just put a TR224 on a 114 LSA in my LQ4 yesterday
