for good gas mileage, i would take your 6.0 out and trade for my 5.3!!!
but seriosly, if you just mainly wanted it for sound, get something cut on a 112lsa.

if you want sound and low end torque.. this is the cam that i was looking at for a future build. there was a guy on here that loved it.

Mean sounding cams and good fuel economy shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence lol. A cam sounds mean when it has a lot of overlap, which is caused by big duration combined with a tighter LSA. The cam listed above is basically what I have, except mine is on a 114. I don't have any sound clips, but I can tell you that it sounds almost stock, especially to the untrained ear. It's a great cam with great gains over stock, no need for a higher stalled converter and good fuel economy, but you can hardly tell that my truck is cammed. If you want it to sound mean, turn the idle way down lol.

yah i have almost the same cam but on a 115 lsa.. it sounds alright on my truck, but then again i have dual exhaust w/ no cats. 112 should give ya a lil more lope.

That cam is pretty tiny for a 6.0...I doubt you'd have much lope at all over stock. The guys are right, if you want mean and lopey you're gunna have to sacrifice somewhere, fuel mileage being one area. Maybe try a 212/218, .558,.563 on a 112...should still be alright with that converter. Or step up to a bigger converter, say somewhere between 2800-3200 and get a tsp220r cam. G/l

What about a 212/218 on 110 LSA?

I'm running the 212/218 on a 112 and I felt my gas mileage stayed the same if not went up. Sounds good at idle, and has lots of good power everywhere. I think it would be great for a tow pig.
