What cam in an LQ4??
Whos running what cam in their 6.0's with good results? I cant decide on what to run. Gonna attempt a swap soon as I get a good tranny. Since my tranny will be able to hold the power I wanna stick a cam in it before the motor goes in. Gonna snag a TCI SF3000 too.

i think you can look at my numbers as a cam that would be to big for anything less than a 4000stall. my cam is a 234/232 595/595 at 115+1(i think). it kicks *** now that i have a turbo but anything near those specs would be too big for most 6.0's dyno numbers>> http://www.neufamily.org/03html/dyno4.jpg

Yeah, the TR220 on a 112 was too big to really make me happy for the reserved driving I normally do. I LOVE the 210/218 112 VHP cam. Tons of torque and throttle responce everywhere.
I think something around the VHP 044, 047, or the Comp 212/218 would be best if driveability is a big concern. I understand FMS also grinds truck-cams with specs in this range.
If you're more into strip-oriented performance, the TR220 might have been a good match to a 3K stall. The cam started to pull hard around 3,500-4,000. It ran good below there too - I just lost a little too much of my extreme low-end power. The cam is in the for sale section...
