What cam in a LQ9
I'm new here as well as to the LS stuff, I am a diehard GM fan but have only delt with old school big/small block Chevy’s. I just recently dipped in to the new school LS stuff and I have a few question im sure yall can answer. I have a 67 chevy pickup short bed step side, I pulled a slightly built 350 with a 350 trans out and have so far stuffed a 2004 model LQ9 mated to a 4l80E with a 3600 Yank stall converter, between the frame rails. I have not ordered a wiring harness yet or ECM. The LQ9 is bone stock other than the hustler long tube headers and gm hotrod oil pan, While I have the front clip off I would like to do a few more things to the motor but im getting no were fast. Is there a strong cam I can use that will work with my stock intake and what is the best way to go as far as throttle linkage, drive by wire or change the throttle body and do drive by cable. Sorry for the long post. Any info or ideas would be great

We offer several different options, as far as camshafts go, that will work with your setup. What exactly are your goals, and what do you plan to do with the truck? You can pm me or call us, whatever is easier!

For what you are describing, I would recommend our Torquer V2 on a 112LSA. Although it is the largest camshaft that we can run with that torque converter, it will provide a nice broad powerband for the street but still work perfect by putting that camshaft in that powerband at the track.
