Murphy's law..................
Did you ever get this fixed or more importantly find out what caused this?
I have had a nelson tune for right at 2 months and this is what happened today.....
There is a guy in Austin that wants to buy my Av but of course wanted to see it first. We agree to meet half way and he would look at the truck and I would get a deposit. We both arrived in Waco with in 5 min of each other and he looked at my truck. He loved it and agreed that is was exactly as I decribed it. He wanted to take it for a quick spin before we finished a deal.
We both got in the truck and I handed him the keys and he started the truck. He then asked me "Is the check engine light always on?" I'm thinking ??? Sure enough I look over and the light is on. It has never been on before and I drove all the way to Waco with no light. The very second the buyer starts it the light comes on. :E:
Since this a supercharged truck he was understandably concerned and he is holding off on a deal till I see what is wrong. I don't know weather to laugh or cry.
As soon as I got back to Dallas I stopped at an Autozone to check the code. Turned out to be code PO315 (crankshaft position sensor not learned)

My previous pcm had that CEL, the Predator wouldn't clear it, so I guess the dealer is going to have to clear it for you with the TechII.... I just put in the Radix tuned pcm and its gone now.
sorry to hear about the unfortunate coincidence

What caused it in the first place? If it is an issue with changing the PCM why did it not show up 2 months ago when I changed it. I need to justifie exactly what happened and convience him it will not be a continuing issue in the future.
Thanks

I would get that code when my thrust bearings went out. Excessive endplay in the crank can cause it. Had it happen several times. The last time I got it was immediately after a 107mph 1/4 mile pass. Upon investigation I found that I could grasp the crank pulley with both hands and thrust the crank back and forth about an 1/8" I sure hope this isn't what is causing yours, but you might want to check your endplay.
