Default What do I need to Flash my own PCM??

I have a 02 6.0l 2500 HD. I was wondering what I need to reprogram my own computer. I have the Auto Tap and I read about the Ls1 edit but on the AutoTap website It refered to being compatible to only certine batch PCM's, and mine was not on the list. It is also my undrstanding that the EFIlive or Ls1 edit is only temporary and does not actually flash your PCM. I want a more perminent flash. Is this extremely expensive or is it something worth getting for someone who is consistantly changing things and no good tuning shops near by??

well if you have autotap then you only need ls1edit. even if it is not listed it is compatible. give them a call and order it. then come back on here and there are plenty to help you out. good luck.
