I'm thinkin of a 3000 stall or a 2600 stall, but I'm not to sure, I saw the yanks on sale right now so I might get the 2600, I was wondering if the 2600 stalls up a little higher then 2600 or if it stalls only to 2600, which one would be better with the TR 224/224 cam?

first i would concentrate on getting the motor. you could get a 6.0 lq4 like i got from highway autoparts in brownwood. costed 2300 and came with the engine,4l80e tranny bolted on, computer, wiring harness, alt, basically everything you need. the only thing you will have to do when getting a bigger tranny is shorten the driveshaft which isnt hard to do and doesnt cost much. also are you going to be doing the work yourself of having someone else do it. i wouldnt spray a 150+ on a lq9 stock. if your wanting to spray i would go with the lq4 becuz of the compression differences.also with buying the cam you will need roller rockers, pushrods, valve springs and a tune...kinda gotta get it all when wanting a cam. as for a stall you could get a 3000 and still get decent mileage buti wouldnt go any bigger than that or you will see a huge difference in your mpg. a nelson tune is the **** and to beef your tranny id put in vette servo along with a shift kit......just my two cents
