Before I sold my Silverado, my stop watch runs were in the 6.2 range which was real close to an online 0-60 calculator that said my 0-60 time wa 6.24 based on my best 1/8 time. I did a 0-60 run last night with my new truck (yeah it's a Hemi Ram) and it was 6.75 seconds.

my gtech reads about .3 fast in the 1/4 and .15 fast in the 1/8th. so less than .1 off in the 60mph i would think.

In My 2003 Chevrolet Silverado SS Ive Timed The 0-60 Times In The 5.8-6.3 Second Times. And I Have A Question For Anyone. I Used to Have An Pewter 2002 Cheverolet Silverado Ext Cab With The 5.3L w/3.73 Gears. And I Couldnt Even Dare Get ANY SPIN Out Of It Weather I Was Powerbraking It Or Just From A Stand Still Then Floor. I Never Could EVER Get The Truck To Spin Unless I Had Washed It And It Had Wet Tires, Or It Had Rained, Or I Was Turning A Corner. . .I Never Got It To Spin. Is Anyone Elses Like That? :S ANd Of Course My SS Wont Bc Its AWD LoL.

my ecsb z-71 will do 0-60 in 7.00 seconds in 4hi. However it will not hook in 2wd at all. normally 2wd 0-60 is 7.5 to 8.0 seconds. This slows 1/4 et from 15.30's to 16's consistently. sounds to me like traction is your main problem.
