I have a custom ground TR224 .561 @ .05 on a 110LSA.
It has a freakin' rough idle. It sounds awesome.
I had to put a B&M 2400 stall in it because it was feeling dead down low in the power band, now it screams from about 2300-6000rpm.
You would definetly need a stall with that cam.
I ran a 14.7 boilin my tires, I couldn't get it to stick for nothing, I figure its good for mid 13's on slicks, even with my tiny stall. Cause i eat mustang GTs all day long by 5 or 6 cars.

My truck has 4.10 gears and stock converter. I put in a 216/222 custom spec'd .Idle's fine at 700rpm but it took some work.Gained 45rwhp with just the Cam and ported TB. Same powerband from idle to 4000rpm then it took off from there. This is also with no headers.

If your going to get that cam at least get a TB stall. But first i think you need a set of Lt headers and some kind of intake. I would do those first and work yourself down the mod list. Just my .02cents

I agree...I'm also in need of some longtubes, and a better flowing intake I'm looking at an LS6 intake.

The truck intake is pretty good untill you take it past 6000rpms.

You will see gains in the upper rpms is what im saying. Many people here still run the truck intake with big cams with no problems. CAI is what i was referencing. Not that they make a big difference but when your trying to get air into the engine every little bit helps.
