Default what does everyone have wrapped up in thier built motors?

post up!

whether you did it yourself or bought it outright

i'm piecing together a lq9 that started off kind of crappy, i bought a core short block for 250$ and it turned out to have a bad crank and rods, really bad

I have just over 3300 invested to this point, but it is also for an engine conversion from a non ls-based car to lq9 car so i have to buy all sensors and wiring and whatnot because the old motor came with none

I have most of the main pieces covered now just wrapping up the small stuff and the last of the major players untill i find a lil car to put it in

major parts still needed -
2002 pcm
throttle body with tps and iac
map sensor
material for headers and flanges/collectors
arp hardware
iat sensor
maf sensor
injectors
waterpump
alternator
accessory brackets
power steering pump
balancer pulley
a/c if desired (probably not)
crankshaft kit
oil pump
lifters
timing chain
dual afr sensors

alot of random other small crap

specs will be

iron block lq9 6.0L 366cid
stock stroke bored .5MM (read .020")
flat top federal mougul pistons plasma top full floating pins and Teflon side skirt
lq9 style rods
stock 243 chamber heads
patriot springs with titanium retainers
ms3 cam
victor jr intake (looking at selling for new pro flo xt if it will fit in whatever i get)
custom stainless longtubes
tuned by me and efi live
oh yeah and that fogger kit i have laying around for those crucial almost lose races

I traded my nitrous kit for 243 heads. spents 50 bucks at the same machine shop to have them milled .030, the cam cost me $275, and the pushrods i traded my old 7.4s for which i think cost me $75. Also have a set of patriot gold .650 lift springs at how ever much they cost. I have i think 200 in the injectors and $600 in a polished vic jr.

i was just wanting to know on average how much everyone was spending on thier engines only, complete as a whole

i know each build will vary, just looking for an average to see where i'm at on my build compared to the norm

i guess i should make a n engine poll lol

i don't know which intake i'm going to use untill i get the car so i just plum haven't bought a w/p yet, pm me prices and condition each way and i'll let ya know when i get that far

thanks racer for posting up, what all did you spend in gaskets? lil fudgers are expensive if you cant reuse them
