What drop do you have and how do you like it?

I have had a Hotchkis 2/4 for a little over two years now and I am just about over the rough ride. The front is not bad but the rear is aweful. I will probablly end up getting either DJM LCAs or Mac spindles and replacing the rear leafs with a 4-link.

Belltech spindles are known to have problems. The 99/00 spindles actually pushed the wheels so they stuck out 1"-2" from the body of the truck. I would stay away from them, even if they supposedly have the problem resolved. The McGaughys product, on the other hand, is unquestioned in its quality They won a design award from GM at SEMA in 2003 for their 2" drop spindle - it's nearly unheard of to win an aftermarket award from the General. I have the McGaughys spindles on my truck and am very pleased.

The McGaughys spindles are real nice
but you have to use them with 17" or larger wheels
If you dont - you have to install the lower ball joint relo kit
drilling out the lower ball joint rivets are bitch
so..... I went with springs. I am using the stock wheels.
I use the stock shocks up front which ride nice
I use IAS in the rear.

I have a 4/6 djm drop. My old drop was a 3/4 consisting of Belltech springs and djm shackle and hanger. The belltech springs were garbage. They started making noises after about 10k miles. After I put the 4/6 it was a better ride but now the carrier bearing bracket is vibrating like crazy. I have air shocks out back and nitro drops up front.

Just running ground force 2" torsion keys and a 3" rear drop sping on my suv. Havn't gotten around to the shocks yet, going to get the McGhaunty 3/5 kit to replace what i have now. I heard they're really good.
A couple more inches and i'll be happy
