what gear ratio to go with?

if your doing city mpg will be better wit 4.10s

I used to have 4.10's with a TH350 and B&M 3K converter in my old 71 Camaro (back in the day). Engine was a 350 sbc. If I remember correctly, it used to be around 3500 rpm at 65mph on the highway...this was about 20 years ago. As you mentioned, I did mostly local driving so I was very happy with the set up...that car used to rip from a dead stop
