What happened to my Auburn Posi
I have not done a burnout for months for a couple of months now. So today, I find myself driving a lonely road and decided to do a burnout from a dead stop. I was surprise to find out only the passenger wheel is spinning. I had no traction at all. I did several more and same results. I would only see one tire mark on the pavement. What could thave happened to my Auburn lsd? Before, it only shirp both of the rear wheels and it was gone. I know my 235/75/16 tires don't help much. Thanks

Re: What happened to my Auburn Posi
This is a stange one. Almost everyone I know have never had probs with the Auburn. Mine is still great. Jack it up and see what it does. Oxidizr is one of the only guys I know that is not a big fan of Auburn. But I've never see this problem like you describe it. Almost sounds like an axle problem too.
Maybe someone stole it since you didn't use it for so long. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Re: What happened to my Auburn Posi
I got installed in June and have only up about 8K miles on it. I was wondering maybe it would help if I would change the diff oil and use less friction addative.
Fast4.8, I remember a thread on how to tell if your posi diff was working or not by lifting one of the wheels. I just not sure how its done.
L-EATER, how much for your stock posi?
Thanks guys for your help.....!

Re: What happened to my Auburn Posi
The experiences I have had with auburn are that the standard one is good but when it wears out it becomes a paperweight and the pro series is junk and prone to breakage. If you have only one wheel pulling you definitely have a problem. Wanna buy a stock posi?
