Did you know that when you change bolts like that, you are supposed to have the rod honed since the ARP bolts create a tighter clamping force on the cap and can make the rod bearing journal out of round.

Now that youre thinking about it, looks like fun. Damn sure easier thandoing it on a F-body.

I thought this was only if you are removing both bolts at the same time! F-body and Vette guys do this all the time with no problems!

I am hoping with in the next month! Still waiting for fuel rail, the cam came today and still need to talk to Allen to get the truck running to have a local dyno tune done to it!

Damn you could have pulled the motor. It would have made things a little easier, but anyways nice setup. Lets see it when it all done!!!

Thats a nice pile of parts and pieces you have there. A lot of work but that's half the fun with this hobby. Nice web page also. I've been putting off doing a similar thing detailing the work done to mine.

not saying it wont work, but.....

Its the same deal as if you were to use main studs. You have to line bore/ hone the mains.
