funny how everyone wants pacesetters mainly due to the 3" collectors, but most feed a single 3" exhaust or dual 2.5" pipes. I'd go with OBX if thats the case.

I understand the 3" collectors on cammed/headed or larger cubed engines, but the 3" y-pipe doesn't make sense to me, especially since, like you mentioned, most run that into a single 3" or dual 2.5" system. The 1 3/4 primaries are kinda big for alot of combos also...a mildy cammed, bolt on 5.3 would problably be more suited for 1 5/8 primaries. (My SW's have 1 3/4 primaries but that's the way they came, and I plan a 6.0 in the future)

My buddy got the Pacesetters this past summer and I got to say for the price I think they are damn nice headers and y pipe!

They are a little pricey but I have the lts from Arizona Speed and Marine and they are holding up very well, have had them on for 3 winters now and they still look great, only 2.5" collectors though wish they were 3".

No joke. I'm going to go with those when the funds are available.

none of these headers will fit a 5.3

they will only work if you have either a 4.8 or a 6.0

the 5.3 uses a different canooter valve modulator on the EGR tube crossover, making the pacesetters and dynatechs ineffective at the rpm range we want to stay at, to make a constant power level, its a simple lambda coefficient.
