Here's plenty of reading and pics regarding these headers.

For less than $300...Ebay Stainless steel headers are the way for me. They bolted up to the factory exhaust and work fine. X2 on the crappy clamps, but the headers will last a long time as they are stainless steel! Get some stainless steel band clamps and you are in business.

i was looking at the LPP's and ended up passing up a good deal on some because of stainless turning blue when hot. but does this go away after they cool down or do they stay blue?

I would have got the ebay headers for my goal of a dd with 400+ rwhp but two things I did not like..1-the funky bend on the drivers side,I know its only aesthetic ..but it bugs me.2- I do not like the merge on the y pipe..kind of just pushes them together.-I opted for a set of used ASM coated s/s for $350..I then bought a flowmaster y merge and some mandrel bends and fabbed my own..couldnt be happier..
-But I do think they are a great deal @ $300 and would recomend them if you need them asap..if not wait for a quality used set...imo

I would suggest the LPP's. Any stainless header will discolor. If you are really worried about it, you could have the inside of the pipes coated to possibly stop it.

The ebay headers are the best deal hands down if you're never planning on getting over 400RWHP. The little 1 5/8" primaries with 2.5" collectors will never get you there. Close but not enough.
