I think the main problem with the whole magnuson-moss thing, is that if you bring your modded truck in, and the service writer tells you the warranty is void b/c of some part (lets say you need a new motor or trans, some high dollar thing).....I dont think hes going to change his tune just because you mension the magnuson-moss act.
Hes not going to say "oh, sorry sir I wasn't aware that you knew about that MM Act and we will slap a new motor in there right away, as long as we can take the time to try and prove that your mods in fact did NOT cause the failure."
Either he will not know what the hell youre talking about, not care, pretend like your crazy, or say "take it up with a lawyer".......and in most cases, I doubt anyone has the time or money to go up against GM in court.
I could be wrong about this, but it just seems like that M-M Act gets thrown around loosly on the internet boards but in real world situations when your standing there talking to your service writer.....I think its irrelevant.
If your going to mod, just be aware of the consequences and make sure you have the money to fix something if it breaks.

I could not agree more! You play, you pay. Also remember that gifts to the Service Advisor are welcomed!
