Hahaha, I ran my buddies with light mods, he raped me from a dig. Infact I couldn't run him on the street from anything less then 55. and I dwarf him in HP. Track is a diff ball game

yeah the SRT8 feels crazy quick! Traction is crazy! Sound is intoxicating even though its stock. I wouldn't trade it for my denali though. Oh well I hope Im close with bolt ons. If not, I'll throw out the back seats lol

The seats help a bit, as do most weight reductions. The center bench seat weighs a ton as do the rear seats. I strip my truck down to just the front seats when I want to race.

The best chance you have is to throw a 150 shot on there and pray.

I once had a GM XXL, I know how slow those big turds really are (22 second quarter mile LOL )

the jeep's are full time 4wd, so you're at a big disadvantage from a dig. I would try a cam, stall, tune, exhaust, and small sticky tires, then you might be close in the quarter. But the jeep is still a monster in the twisties, I've put one around a racetrack and I was shocked. it could outperform the challenger srt-8 (pre 6.4 models).

Those srt8 are pretty fast. I pulled on one off a 20 roll tho with cam stall and tune in a rcsb

Sorry to say, but a FBO 6.2 Denali XL is not gonna get the job done. You'll need a power adder of some type. Pick your poison.
I agree. With a power adder, the denali still might not get the job done. Atleast that was the case with my buddies supercharged Joe Gibbs tahoe against a stock srt8 jeep. The jeep was a few car lengths ahead at the 1320

My brother has an 07 srt8. He has gotten a best of a 13.0 at 103 with dozens of passes on great tracks. We just went to the srt 8 shootout at vmp in july where he and my other brother did more 13.0s. I got in for one pass and ran a 12.8 which pissed him and all the other jeep owners off but that's what it ran. Half tank, full weight, bone stock.

We race 2-3 times a week. It's def his low end torque outta the hole that gets me. Once we get moving I'm right with him. U have to either roll w him from your mid 1st gear in 4wd or 45 in second. Outta the hole your gonna need some serious power and a convertor.

This was the first time we raced and I was on 6 psi.

Right now I'm at 8 and light tranny mods, it's close but he still gets me

Look at the slip and numbers. I couldn't have ran a better race, the truck just wasn't there. He is the reason I turbo'd my truck

Good luck with that. Let me know how it works out. The SRT-8 runs pretty well, I have driven a couple and seen them run. I used to have a just a 5.7 Jeep and it ran well for what it was, 6.2 or not the Denali XL is a heavy bastard and is not going to keep up with a SRT8 for cheap. Unless the SRT8 has a *** hat driver.
